Client Background
Sealos is an AI-native cloud operating system platform from China targeting the global developer market. Built on Kubernetes, its core products include DevBox cloud development environments, one-click app deployment, managed databases, and AI infrastructure management. The product is extensively open-sourced on GitHub with an active community, but its international brand search volume and organic traffic were still in the early stages.

Project Goals
The client aimed to achieve two core objectives: systematically increase organic search traffic on Google for sealos.io through SEO to expand the international developer user base; and establish stable mindshare in ChatGPT and other major AI assistants for cloud platform and Kubernetes alternative recommendation scenarios through GEO.
Core Challenges
The cloud infrastructure space directly competes with Vercel, Railway, Heroku, Render, and other internationally established products already deeply embedded in AI training data. Sealos was virtually absent in the AI recommendation ecosystem as a newcomer. The technical audience demands extremely high content authority, and managing dual SEO and GEO tracks simultaneously presented significant resource coordination challenges.

Developers increasingly rely on ChatGPT for first-round screening when selecting cloud platforms, asking questions like Is there a cheaper alternative to Heroku? and Is there a simpler way to use Kubernetes? before visiting any website. Sealos directly addresses these pain points, but without presence in AI answers, even the best product can't make it onto developers' shortlists.
GEO Execution
Analyzed how ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other major AI assistants respond to cloud platform selection questions, identifying the root causes of Sealos being overlooked. Created authoritative Sealos vs Competitors content series, focusing on cloud platform comparison and best Kubernetes alternative topics, distributed through international tech media, developer blogs, and Reddit/HackerNews communities.
SEO Execution
Completed comprehensive technical SEO diagnosis and keyword matrix development, producing content covering migration guides, tutorials, and technical deep-dives targeting high-intent long-tail keywords like Heroku alternatives, Kubernetes simplified, and deploy without DevOps.
Execution Timeline
Approximately 6 months: the first three months focused on building SEO foundations and content systems; months four onward entered intensive GEO content and FAQ matrix distribution; months five and six saw a significant traffic inflection point entering a high-plateau growth phase.
